Becky Mendoza
Senior Associate, Mission: Readiness
Becky Mendoza joined the Council for a Strong America team in September 2022 as a Senior Associate for Mission: Readiness. Prior to joining CSA, Becky spent her time in K-12 public education, both teaching and counseling. She earned her Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of Wyoming, and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology (Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology) from the University of Minnesota. During her tenure in the K-12 space, Becky served in several leadership capacities, with the most recent as President of the Minnesota School Counselor Association.
Becky is passionate about advocating for an equitable education system where all students have access to high-quality education and can thrive wherever their life takes them after graduation. She is incredibly excited to be joining the team at CSA and supporting the members who make this possible.
Outside of the office, you can find Becky tasting wines from around the world, laughing at stand-up comedy, reading a good book, trying a new recipe, or “sweating it out” at the gym. She and her husband, Izaak, have been married since 2014 and have 2 cats, Tuna and Willow.
