Bonnie Hilory

Development Operations Officer

Bonnie Hilory serves as Development Operations Officer with the Strategic Planning and Development Office. Bonnie brings a depth of experience in development and fundraising with more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Her goal to help nonprofits succeed in this ever-changing environment.

She has served as the Executive Director of the Institute of Flight in Mukilteo, WA; Vice President of Development at the USS Missouri Memorial Association in Honolulu, HI; and Executive Director of InvestED in Seattle, WA. She has also served in various roles in youth development organizations, including the YMCA and Camp Korey. She also has worked in Higher Education serving as Executive Director of Alumni at Hawaii Pacific University, and most recently Director of Continuing Education and Grant Prospecting at Bay State College.

In addition, she is Founder and Principal of the Nonprofit Accelerator based in Port Angeles, WA where she helps match consultants with nonprofit organizations to help strengthen all facets of their operations.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Park Management from the University of Oregon and a Master of Management with an emphasis in Nonprofits and Change Management from the University of Phoenix. Bonnie currently lives with her husband and two dogs in Port Angeles, WA.

Bonnie is an Advisory Board member for the YMCA of Sequim, and on the Board of Directors with Puget Sound Grant Writers Association (PSGA) and Chair of the Seattle Funders Forum with PSGA. Bonnie is serving an appointment to the Parks, Recreation and Beautification Commission for the city of Port Angeles, in Washington State.
