Melanie Worley
Deputy Director, Colorado
Melanie Worley joined Council for a Strong America in January of 2020, bringing in 20 years of nonprofit and public sector experience, as well as 15 years of corporate association and small business ownership. Most recently, Melanie served as Chief Executive Officer of a nonprofit supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and delays. During that time, she also served on the regional mental health board and continues to serve on the Housing Partnership and the Senior Services Foundation for Douglas County, and the Leadership Advisory Council for the Colorado Nonprofit Association. Melanie actively serves rural Colorado through her membership on the board of Pro 15. Prior to her role as CEO, she was an elected County Commissioner for 10 years in Douglas County. Melanie has lived in Highlands Ranch, Colorado for 35 years with her husband, Jim.
