Seth Assink

Seth Assink is a Vice President and SBA Business Development Officer with Peoples Bank.

Prior to Peoples Bank, Assink was Vice President of Sourcing for Advantage Capital. Advantage Capital provides growth capital to businesses in underserved communities. Before joining Advantage Capital, Seth spent 15 years working in different aspects of the banking industry, including retail banking, commercial banking, private banking, and bank management. Most of his banking time was spent in Laurel, MS, and the MS Gulf Coast. He moved back to the MS Gulf Coast in 2019 to be closer to family.

Seth is originally from the Copiah-Lincoln County area. He graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated with his Master’s in Business Administration in 2006 from Alcorn State University. Seth has two sons, ages 8 and 6.
