Pre-K is a Win for Students and Businesses

ReadyNation member Jack Brennan promotes pre-K in Indianapolis as a way to bolster the economy and help close the skills gap

ReadyNation member Jack Brennan congratulates Indianapolis on the creation of a new quality preschool initiative in an Indianapolis Star op-ed. In it, Brennan highlights the fact that boosting skills for our youngest learners will help businesses close the looming “skills gap” they face, particularly in STEM fields. He also notes the success of a private-public partnership that fostered the creation of the program.

As a business leader and someone who cares deeply about education, I understand the positive impact that quality pre-K programs have on our economy and the tremendous return on investment they represent.
