A stronger state, economy, and military through investments in children's health and education

In 2016, Utah expanded preschool to nearly 4,000 low-income four year olds. Our members in Utah supported that legislation, supporting improvements to Utah's education system for a stronger state and country. Those leaders also recently backed the continuation of Utah’s Pay for Success preschool program, which reaches over 2,000 children. However, Utah lawmakers still have work to do to ensure that children are citizen-ready. Last year, Utah fell from 7th to 27th place on a state ranking of children’s health.
