Improving public safety in the Old Dominion

Despite Virginia’s divided state government, the state’s Democratic Governor and Republican-led legislature came to a budget compromise in 2016 that included education as a top priority. However, juvenile justice reform and healthcare expansion were left out of that deal. That’s why our law enforcement leaders in Virginia are educating lawmakers about those issues and their connection to improved public safety.
