Improving education in Tennessee for strong families and a strong economy

In the past decade, Tennessee students made some of the strongest gains in the country in student achievement. Still, roughly 70% of the state’s students aren't proficient in core subjects. Our members in Tennessee successfully protected funding for preschool in 2016 citing positive future results for the economy and the U.S. military. Meanwhile, pastors in in Memphis are shepherding the community through a school district merger.
