Preschool helps children succeed in school and prepares them for productive lives

Businesses need employees who are not only well-educated, but also job­-ready, productive, and team­-capable. Yet many businesses are currently hard pressed to find qualified employees, because too many young adults don’t have the necessary education or skills to get hired.

The factsheet makes the business case for greater access to early education—drawing on data that shows the connection between early education, school readiness, and later workforce success.

Future coders and pilots must build a foundation for literacy, critical thinking and problem solving in the earliest years of life.
