Quality Early Education’s Impact on Future National Security

Three retired generals and state senator from Nebraska visit an early education center in Omaha

Three retired generals and a state senator from Nebraska visited an Educare early childhood education center in Omaha to discuss the importance of quality early education for our future national security and to read to the preschoolers. High-quality early learning can help children succeed in school, stay physically fit, and avoid criminal involvement, opening the doors to college, careers and the military for those who choose to serve.

State Senator Heath Mello (District 5, South Omaha), Appropriations Committee Chairman, joined Major General (Ret.) Mark R. Musick, U.S. Air Force, Brigadier General (Ret.) Randolph M. Scott, U.S. Air Force, and Brigadier General (Ret.) Dayle Williamson, U.S. Army.
