Mission: Readiness member Lieutenant General (Ret.) Michael Vane, U.S. Army, delivered a keynote address in honor of Patriots Day

On September 12, Mission: Readiness member Lieutenant General (Ret.) Michael Vane, U.S. Army, delivered a keynote address in honor of Patriots Day in front of hundreds of students, school and community leaders at Yosemite High School (Oakhurst, CA), as reported by Sierra News Online.

In addition to his remarks paying tribute to the victims lost on September 11, 2001, Lieutenant General Vane shared his perspective on national security challenges America faces due to serious societal and health factors.

Nearly three quarters of young American adults could walk into a recruiting station today and be turned away because they cannot meet minimum screening requirements of military service.
