Veterans Day Video Tributes

Retired military leaders honor those who serve our country

Three Mission: Readiness members share their thoughts on what Veterans Day means to them:

Major General (Ret.) Michael W. Davidson, U.S. Army, says that “Veterans Day adds a whole new level of understanding about what it means to be a Soldier and an American. Veterans are a national treasure who were there for us before and they will be there for us again.”

Major General (Ret.) Michael S. Hall, U.S. Air Force, says that taking some time on Veterans Day to reflect on veterans’ service and to honor them is one of the most important things we can do as a country.

Rear Admiral (Ret.) Casey W. Coane, U.S. Navy, reflects on attending Veterans Day events that “instill a sense of pride in this nation and what it has stood for, pride in the people that have made our nation great, both in and out of the military…and pride and respect for the young men and women serving today and those that have worn the cloth of the country for years and years and are still with us.”
