Christa Markgraff

Christa Markgraff has been a member of ReadyNation since 2015. She oversees Nicor’s Investing in Illinois program, the largest infrastructure replacement effort in company history, modernizing $2 billion in pipeline assets over nine years. Her team develops and pursues large-scale infrastructure-improvement programs and projects, including high-value, complex assets. Previously, Markgraff worked in several other operating, engineering, construction, and marketing positions at Nicor. Additionally, Markgraff is the Director of STEM Education for the Chicago Chapter of the Women’s Energy Network. WEN’s mission is to attract, retain, and develop more women in the field of energy through outreach programs. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Voices for Illinois Children, and has filled various leadership capacities in local parent-teacher and children’s sports organizations.
