David Batts

David has more than 20 years of nonprofit and development experience with public policy and children’s and systems reform organizations at the national, state, and local levels. He rejoined Council for a Strong America in October 2018, having previously served as its Director of Strategic Planning and Development from 2000 to 2015.

David has worked as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Center for the Study of Social Policy, Development Director for Children’s Express World Wide, Development Director for the Alliance for Justice, and Associate Director of Communications and Outreach for the Alliance To End Childhood Lead Poisoning.

David graduated from the American University in Washington, DC, with a bachelor’s degree in political science and public communication, and the Campaign Management Institute.
