Debra McGee

Debra McGee is a Senior Vice President and Corporate Director of Minority Business Development at BankPlus. She has had a prosperous career in banking for over thirty-five years. At BankPlus, Mrs. McGee is responsible for developing and implementing programs, products, and initiatives geared toward minority businesses in all the communities BankPlus services.

Mrs. McGee is a graduate of William Carey University School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. She also holds certificates of banking from American Institute of Banking and University of Mississippi School of Banking. She is a graduate of Leadership Hattiesburg and Leadership Jackson.

Past President and founder of West Jackson Rotary Club, she received the District Service Award, and has served as an Assistant Governor. Debra was named one of the top fifty leading business women in the state. She was voted Jackson Advocate Woman of the Year. Mrs. McGee was also selected as the US Small Business Administration (SBA) Mississippi 2013 Financial Services Champion of the Year. She has been honored as a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi, and selected for Who’s Who in Black Mississippi. She was awarded for outstanding community service by Robinson Watson Book Company. Mrs. McGee has received the Financial Women International Woman of the Year Award and Dress for Success Women of Strength Award. She also serves numerous service organizations including Interim Director of Dress for Success Metro Jackson, Chairman of Jackson State University Development Foundation, Board member of Woodward Hines Foundation, Community Foundation of Mississippi, past Chairman of Mississippi Food Network, board member of Walter Payton Family Foundation and Nissan Community Advisory Group. She is also a member of the Links, Incorporated LeFleur’s Bluff Chapter.

Mrs. McGee is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and resides in Raymond. She is a member of College Hill Baptist Church where she serves as a Deaconess, on the Board of Trustees, Building Fund Committee, and Chair of the Sam Bailey Scholarship Committee. She is married to Vincent McGee, owner/ operator of S&T Heating and Cooling.
