Dr. Rick Wood

Rick has been in ministry since 1977. Rick has served the church in several capacities since he began his ministry. He has served as youth minister, singles minister and preaching minister. He has been blessed to serve in small and large churches. He understands church life from a variety of settings.

Rick has been consulting with churches since the mid 1990’s and has worked in the stewardship, capital campaign ministry, helping churches raise millions of dollars over the past several years. He has been privileged to train leaders and work with churches in the US, several islands in the Caribbean, Nicaragua, Ukraine, and France. He currently serves as the Regional Minister for Church Engagement for Shepherding the Next Generation.

Rick is married to Lanie (Oaks) Wood. Rick and Lanie live in Memphis, TN. Lanie has been a school teacher in Memphis for over 17 years. Rick has two grown children and seven wonderful grandchildren.
