Jason Dean

Jason Dean has an extensive background in government and business development. He previously served as the education policy advisor under former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour’s administration. Jason is a former White House Fellow and founder of the Mississippi Energy Institute. He served on the State Board of Education as Chair, and he currently serves on Governor Tate Reeves Restart Mississippi Commission as Chair of the Education Committee. He most recently wrapped up a multi-year effort in the aerospace industry as VP of Program Development at Tenax Aerospace. Jason holds a doctorate in education from the University of Mississippi and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi.
