John Connolly

John Connolly joined Council for a Strong America in 2020 as an Associate for Mission: Readiness. He joined the Federal Policy Team in 2022 and as of 2023 is the team’s Associate Director. On the Federal Policy Team, John supports efforts to engage with federal policymakers and key stakeholders on issues and initiatives across Council for a Strong America. John also manages the Senior Policy Council.

Prior to joining Council for a Strong America, John spent several years on Capitol Hill, working for Members of Congress in the Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and California delegations. He also worked on congressional campaigns in Virginia and Pennsylvania. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, John received his B.A. in Politics from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
