Nicole Stubbs, BSN, RN, ACM, CLNC

Nicole Stubbs is a Legal Nurse Consultant with Upshaw, Williams, Biggers, and Beckham, LLP, a law firm in Greenwood, Mississippi. She joined the law office in the Fall of 2022. She has been consulted on various cases, including medical malpractice, product liability, and worker’s compensation claims. As a legal nurse consultant, she studies cumbersome medical records. By utilizing her years of medical experience, she assists attorneys, insurance carriers, and others by concisely presenting the concerns or successes found within the records. Nicole best serves as a liaison between the medical and legal professionals, helping to ensure improved healthcare and outcomes. Before this position, Nicole served the local Greenwood Leflore Hospital for four years as Vice President of Performance Improvement and Risk Management.

She earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Holmes Community College and her bachelor’s of science in nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is certified as a legal nurse consultant by the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants and as an accredited case manager by the American Case Management Association. Nicole serves on the educational council of the Louisiana Chapter of ACMA. She has previously served as Co-Chair of the Quality Network with Vizient Southern States.

Nicole lives in her hometown of Kosciusko with her husband, Chris, and children, Griffin and Addison. In her spare time, she enjoys attending various sporting and school events in which her family participates.
