Nicole has been at Greenwood Leflore Hospital for a little over three years. As the Vice President of Performance Improvement at the hospital, Nicole works with the directors and departments of Quality, Clinical Care Management, Patient Service Excellence, and Accreditation to ensure the hospital is improving and meeting goals. She oversees and coordinates activities relating to Joint Commission accreditations, risk management, patient satisfaction and experience, case management, and the quality of care or services that the hospital provides. Part of Nicole’s role is to work with the hospital team to meet all quality initiatives in which the hospital participates, including Leapfrog, Value-Based purchasing, and Bundled Payment Clinical Initiatives. She works closely with the risk manager and legal team to decrease risk events and protect the hospital from malpractice issues. Nicole also works with the hospital as a whole to coordinate and improve any process improvement activities that the hospital deems necessary. Prior to this position, Nicole served as the hospital’s risk management director.
She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Holmes Community College, and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from University of Mississippi Medical Center and is certified as a legal nurse consultant and an accredited case manager.
Nicole currently lives in her hometown of Kosciusko with her 18-month-old son Griffin, and her 13-year-old daughter Addison. In her spare time, she enjoys attending her daughter’s basketball, volleyball and power lifting events.
