Roy J. Bostock

Board Member Emeritus, Council for a Strong America; Vice Chairman (Ret.), Delta Airlines Board of Directors

Roy J. Bostock is member of ReadyNation’s CEO Taskforce on Early Childhood and is a Board Member Emeritus of Council for Strong America. Bostock is a veteran businessman who currently serves on the board of directors of Delta Airlines as vice chairman, and is the former Chairman of Northwest Airlines Corporation. From 2008 to 2012, he served as chairman of Yahoo! Inc. Previously, Bostock served as chairman of the advertising firm BCom3 Group, Inc and was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the McManus Group from 1996 to 2000.

Bostock is the former chairman of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America and a former trustee of Duke University. He has served as a Trustee/Director of the United Way of New York City; a Trustee of the U.S. Ski Team Foundation; a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development; and a member of the NCAA Foundation Board of Directors.

Bostock holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard University.
