Champions for America’s Future member Chandra Cheeseborough-Guice touted the importance of quality physical education—and the Tom Cronan Physical Education Act—— during a Champions event near Chattanooga, TN. Held at LaVergne Lake Elementary School, the event also highlighted a separate bill requiring an annual assessment of PE in Tennessee schools.
I believe that academics and physical activity go hand-in-hand. Physical activity helps the body and the mind. We definitely need to bring PE back to the classroom.
