Donald Jones

Sheriff Donald Jones has been a member of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids since 2011. He joined the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department as a part-time correctional officer in 1975. Four years later, he entered the Patrol Division as a Deputy Sheriff, with promotions to Detective in 1984, Shift Supervisor in 1989, Lieutenant in 1991 and Captain in 1995. After a year as Chief Deputy, Sheriff Jones was elected to lead the department in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. Sheriff Jones has received honors from the Court-Appointed Special Advocate program (CASA) and the Williamson County Child Advocacy Center.
