Parent Engagement

Parenting can be a challenge for anyone, but low-income and single parents face unique hurdles that put their children at a higher risk of school failure, emotional and physical health problems, and even later involvement in crime. Council for a Strong America works to prevent these expensive outcomes by increasing access to voluntary home-visiting programs and increasing parent engagement in early education programs among at-risk families.
