Faith leaders calling for effective approaches to strengthen families and communities
About Shepherding the Next Generation
The more than 800 faith leaders who comprise Shepherding the Next Generation know that, today, millions of American children are growing up in situations that put them at risk. These families are in our churches and in our communities. They are our neighbors.
Shepherding the Next Generation’s faith leaders bring proven solutions to the problems affecting disadvantaged children in our communities. Our members also take that faith and experience directly to state and national policymakers to present bipartisan, research-based solutions to support strong families.
800+ faith leaders call for:
- Voluntary parent coaching that helps at-risk moms and dads learn essential parenting skills
- Providing access to early childhood education
- Churches that play a major role in advancing solutions to the challenges facing at-risk children
