Home Visiting

For nearly 150,000 families nationwide, voluntary home visiting programs are a vital support. This service enables at-risk parents—often single, teen moms—to receive coaching from a trained nurse or health professional on how to give their children a safe and healthy start in life. Council for a Strong America educates policymakers about the connection between home visiting and stronger families, reductions in child abuse, and other positive outcomes.
