25th Anniversary
For a quarter century, the law enforcement leaders of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids have been championing evidence-based programs that help kids thrive
About Fight Crime: Invest in Kids
Fight Crime: Invest in Kids was founded in 1996 by law enforcement leaders and has since grown to over 5,000 members nationwide. Our diverse membership of police chiefs and sheriffs advocate for the evidence-based strategies proven to reduce crime, including early interventions like preschool, voluntary homevisiting, and afterschool programs. Armed with research, our members have made the case that helpings kids stay on the right path increases public safety for all.
Over the past 25 years, Fight Crime: Invest in Kids members have championed these issues in their communities and seen significant policy change, including increased investments in CHIP and MIECHV and the reauthorization of the JJDPA.
