K-12

Despite a number of education reforms, student achievement in the U.S. has not improved significantly over the past 30 years. However, a number of states and school districts have made advances. New and practical approaches to education such as “deeper learning” initiatives are preparing young people for greater success in college and careers. Council for a Strong America works at the state and federal level to boost results-based approaches to K-12 education in order to strengthen the U.S. economy, prevent crime, and widen the pool of military-eligible young adults.
